Practice Makes...
I stumbled upon Houdini in around 2019. I’d been working as a *professional* motion designer for quite some time and was obsessed with the ability to create motion using syntax. After [what we’ll pretend was] extensive research, I stumbled about the apex of such programs.
It has been about 6 years so far and many times I still feel like I’m only scratching the surface of the program. So, like with any other craft I periodically thrust myself into self-imposed practice periods;
Diving into concepts, options and available nodes that I might other-wise have ignored.
This time we’re looking at For Loops in Houdini
From which not only this lovely piece was made, but some offshoots along the way.
The final renderings of this and the aforementioned offshoots will be show up below!
